Ayeyarwaddy Division
On the western side of the Ayeyarwaddy Division are The
Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bangal. It has a monsoon climate. Bamar and Kayin
nationals form the majority of the population. Fishery business is important in
the Ayeyarwaddy Division. The principal crop cultivated is paddy.

Bagan
Bagan, the most wonderous and main tourist attraction in
Myanmar, is situated in the Central Myanmar, 522 km north of Yangon. It is one
of the richest archaelogical sites in Asia and is located on the eastern bank of
Ayeyarwaddy River. Across 40 sq.kilometers, there are 2217 ancient stupas, caves
and other edifices of 11th-13th centuries in the Bagan Archaeological Zone.
Architecturally, there are two main types of buildings in Bagan; the solid
stupas and hollow temples.

Chin State
Located on the West side of Myanmar is the CHIN STATE. India
to its north & west and Rakhine State to its south. Average temperature ranges
between 15C to 4C. The majority of the population are CHIN, mostly Christians.
There are many kinds of orchids and rhododendrons. Nanauk(Mythurs) are raised
but they are tended in the wild. Haka is the capital of Chin State.

Kachin State
Located on the northern part of Myanmar and is famous for its
snow cap mountain ranges, on the northern edge lies the highest peak called
Khakaborazi about 5669 m high.

Kalaw
Kalaw is situated 70 km west of Taunggyi; the capital of Shan
state and about 50 km from Pindaya caves. Kalaw sits high on the western edge of
the Shan Plateau and was a popular hill station in the British times. It is
still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere remnants of colonial era.

Kyaikhtiyo
Kyaikhtiyo is 160 km drive from Yangon with about 10 km trek
uphill along a meandering trail from the base camp of Kin Pun. As you reached to
the top, you will find the incredible balancing boulder stupa of Kyaikhtiyo.

Inle Lake
Inle lake lies about 30km south of Taunggyi. This vast
picturesque lake with its mesmerizing beauty is situated 899 m above sea level
and surrounded by hazy blue mountains. It is best known for its floating gardens
and houses built in the lake. Inle lake has a fabulous backdrop of hills with
the floating gardens grown flowers, vegetables and fruits.

Mandalay
Myanmar’s last Royal capital MANDALAY is located in Central
Myanmar, 668 km.north of Yangon. It is regarded as the centre of Myanmar culture
and Buddhist learning. About 60% of all the Buddhist monks in Myanmar reside in
Mandalay area. Although it was known as Ratanabon, meaning “ a heap of jewels ”,
the city got its present name from nearby Mandalay Hill. King Mindon, the last
ruler of Konboung Dynasty, founded the city in 1857. Today it is the second
largest city boasting its cultural heritage. It is also the commercial centre
with rail, road, river and air links to all parts of the country.

Mogok
Situated in Mandalay division and is about 80km from Mandalay
on the mountain range at 1158m above sea level. Mogoke is surrounded by chains
of high mountains, as in the middle of a jar.

Mon State
The first ancient capital city of Mon State is formally known
as Suvanna Bummi or Thaton. It lies between Thanlwin River and the Sittaung
River.

Mrauk U
One of the best archaeological sites as this attraction is
situated in The Rakhine State, which is situated on the South-Western part of
Myanmar. The ancient capital founded by Rakkhine King Minsawmon in 1433 AD..
Mrauk U period flourished between 15th century and 18th century. The city is 80
km from the north of Sittwe, a port city once known as the Golden Gate by the
west.

Myeik
The Myeik archipelago situated on the southern Taninthayi
Division of Myanmar (formerly known as Tennesarim coast of Burma). Around and on
the east of Myeik, there are many valuable tin mines, oil palm plantation, and
rubber plantation and tropical rain forests.

Ngapali Beach
The best beach resort in Myanmar, also once known as the
"Naples of the East", is located on the northern coast in Rakhine State. Nagpali
is an unpolluted, unspoiled beach stretching over 3 km with crystal clear blue
sea and clean white sands fringed with coconut groves as far as your eyes can
see

Pindaya
Pindaya is a small picturesque town, situated about 45-km
north of Kalaw. The road from Kalaw to Pindaya passes through the countryside of
idyllic beauty. Pindaya is fame for its Caves in which thousands of centuries
old Buddha images that are seated or carved and its uncommon local made
umbrellas.

Rakhine
Rakhine State is in the western - most part of the country.
Bordering with Chin State in the north and facing the Bay of Bengal in the west.
It is a tropical monsoon region. Annual rainfall is 5156mm at Sittwe, the
capital of Rakhine State. Rakhine, Bamar and Chin are the inhabitants. Mrauk-U,
an ancient royal town, is rich in interesting historical sites such as pagoda
and cultural edifices and antiques.

Tachileik
A short flight to Tachileik will be the beginning of a tour
of the infamous Golden Triangle. Tachileik sits on the banks of the Mekong River
across from Mai Sai in Thailand. It is a cross border town. A one-and-half hour
drive from Tachileik we arrive at Mai Pong, where we can enjoy a boat tour of
Mekong River.

Taunggyi
Taunggyi is situated over 1,400 m above sea level. It can be
reached by car from Mandalay or Yangon or, by plane through Heho which is a one
hour drive. Taunggyi is the capital city of Shan State, situated in the eastern
part of Myanmar. It is a popular summer resort. It is well known for its scenic
charm and pleasantly cool climate.

Taninthayi Division
Bordering with MON STATE in the north and Thailand in the
east and facing Adaman Sea in the west is TANINTHAYI DIVISION. The sea along the
Taninthayi Coast is dotted with nearly 800 islands. Islands in the South are
called MYEIK archipalago. The inhabitants are Bamars, Kayins, Mons, and Salones.
Tin and tungsten mainly comes from this Division. Natural gas, drilled offshore,
is transported by pipeline to Thailand.

Yangon ( Rangoon )
Yangon, the most unique of Asian cities is the capital of
Myanmar. It was founded by King Alaungpaya on the site of a small settlement
called DAGON when he conquered lower Myanmar in 1755. The name YANGON means “
End of Strife ” which was anglicised as Rangoon by the British. Evergreen and
cool with lush tropical trees, shady parks and beautiful lakes, Yangon has
earned the name “ The Garden City of the East ”. The present day Yangon covers
400 sq.km. and has a population of over 5 million.
