BUDDHIST PILGRIMAGE TOURS TO ANCIENT PAGODAS (9 DAYS/8 NIGHTS)
Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyo(Golden Rock)-Mandalay-Yangon
DAY 01: ARRIVAL YANGON
Arrive at the Yangon airport and transfer to hotel. Dinner and O/N in
Yangon.
DAY 02: YANGON
Sightseeing in Yangon.( Shwedagon pagoda, Chaukhtatkyi reclining
Buddha, Kaba-Aye mahapasana-Guha cave. After lunch, proceed to Thanlyin
Mid river pagoda. Dinner with culture show. O/N in Yangon.
DAY 03: YANGON - KYAIKHTIYO (GOLDEN ROCK)
After breakfast, Yangon to Kyaik-Hti-Yo (Golden Rock ) by coach. Stop
over in Bago and visit to Shwemawdaw pagoda, Shwethalyaung pagoda,
Chinese temple and Four faces pagoda. After lunch proceed to Kyaikhto.
O/N in Kyaikhto hotel.
DAY 04: KYAIKHTIYO (GOLDEN ROCK) - MANDALAY
After breakfast, Kyaikhtiyo to Mandalay by coach. Lunch on the way
and dinner at Penwegone. Proceed to Mandalay and breakfast in hotel.
Start sightseeing to Mahamuni pagoda, Kuthodaw, 729 marble slabs with
Buddhist scriptures. Shwenandaw monastery for its fine curvings.
Lunch at Myanmar traditional restaurant. Proceed to Mandalay hill for
its panoramic view. Dinner and puppet show in the night. O/n in
Mandalay.
DAY 05: SAGAING - MONYWA
Excursion to Sagaing for its famous Pagodas. Proceed to Monywa for
its famous Thanbodae and one thousand Bodi trees with a large reclining
Buddha Image on top of the Hill. After lunch, proceed to Shweguni, the
sacred Buddha Image. Return to Mandalay. Dinner and O/N in Mandalay.
DAY 06: MAYMYO (PYIN OO LWIN)
After breakfast, drive to Maymyo,( Pyin Oo Lwin ) and sightseeing to Lawkachantha
Labamuni pagoda with its fine white marble standing statue, Paikchin
myaung cave with waterfall. After lunch visit to Chinese Temple (joss
house) and proceed to Botanical garden.Dinner and O/N in PyinOolwin.
DAY 07: MANDALAY - MEIKHTILA
After breakfast, return to Mandalay U Bain's bridge. After lunch
drive back to Yangon. Dinner at Meikhtila and sleep on coach.
DAY 08: BAGO - YANGON
Arrive to Bago and breakfast at Bago restaurant. Proceed to Yangon
and arrive in the afternoon. Leisure at hotel and dinner with culture
show in the evening. O/N in Yangon.
DAY 09: DEPARTURE DAY
Shopping to Bogyoke market and after lunch, transfer to airport for
International flight departure.
